Religious Intolerance today?

While America was based on religious freedom, and the Judeo Christian values, there is an subtle attack on Christianity.  It is all in the guise of separation from Church and State.  Not long ago, stores were not saying Merry Christmas but Happy Holidays for fear of offending our supposedly gentler, kinder, more tolerant society.  So much that it is considered somewhat controversial to pray in public at a football game. This is not new.

Acts 28, the apostle Paul get to Rome to speak in his defense to the Jews in Rome.  In verse 22 they respond to Paul by saying, "But we desire to hear from you what your views are, for with regard to this sect we know that everywhere it is spoken against."

Some listened to Paul and other's disbelieved.  No different from today's hybrid religious faith where "if you are a good person doctrine" all is good.

Acts 28:25-27
 25 They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: “The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your ancestors when he said through Isaiah the prophet:
 26 “‘Go to this people and say,
“You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
   you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.”
27 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
   they hardly hear with their ears,
   and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
   hear with their ears,
   understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’[a]

I pray for revival in America, that we as a country will turn to God and He will heal us.   Holy Spirit, give me wisdom and boldness to speak the truth which is now politically incorrect.
