Our recent sermon brought this song back to my mind. I love this beautiful worship song taken from Isaiah. I have a pet peeve. The music at church at times physically hurts my ears. Because of me, Vince and I will stand in the hall and come late so I am not in pain. When the music is so loud I can't hear my self, I think the music is TOO loud. I am sure this is not the case for most people, and youth LOVE music loud.
I recently visited a church of a friend and while they had a band, they must have turned the amplifiers down so we could actually hear the voices of the people singing. It sounded like angels even when the people near me couldn't sing a note. I loved it and was so moved, I cried.
Oh well, God inhabits the praises of his people, I will just have to sit outside to not physically plug my ears. I do miss worship, so I will do a lot of singing in my car!!!
