Am I Speaking of God's Faithfulness and Love?

Psalm 40:8-14
I desire to do your will, my God;
    your law is within my heart.”
I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly;
    I do not seal my lips, Lord,
    as you know.
10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
    I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
    from the great assembly.

Lord, let me speak your saving acts, your faithfulness and your love to everyone I know.

What is the sweetest thing in your life?

Psalm 19[

a]

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

The heavens declare the glory of God;
    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
    no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice[b] goes out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
    It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
    like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens
    and makes its circuit to the other;
    nothing is deprived of its warmth.
The law of the Lord is perfect,
    refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
    making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
    giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
    giving light to the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is pure,
    enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
    and all of them are righteous.
10 They are more precious than gold,
    than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
    than honey from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned;
    in keeping them there is great reward.
12 But who can discern their own errors?
    Forgive my hidden faults.
13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
    may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
    innocent of great transgression.
14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart

This is a beautiful and famous psalm.  This psalm is referred to in the New Testament in Romans, written about by C.S. Lewis, used in Jewish worship and Catholic alike.  It has been set to music by Bach, Beethoven and Hayden.
This is a psalm to drink in, to pray in our lives and to praise Our God.
This shows our awe of the glory of God, His Word, and our desire to please and love Him.

But Thou Oh Lord Are A Sheild For Me

But thou oh, Lord, are a shield for me,
    my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
I call out to the Lord,
    and he answers me from his holy mountain.

This scripture was a sweet song we used to sing as teenagers at Bible Studies.  How I view it different today.  What kind of shield King David needed was different than I need in my daily life.  I am not hiding from King Saul in a cave.  My enemies as assaults on my emotions.  My anxiety about what is happening to my staff in our present economy holds me heavy.  Lord, I ask that you guard my heart, my emotions from the assaults of worry and axniety.  Help me to know that you care for each of them and help me to use this upsetting time to glorify You with them.
